By using cakelanka.com you agree to these terms. They're short, and written to be read.

What CAKELANKA is

A free directory that helps you find home bakers in Sri Lanka. We don't bake, sell or deliver cakes, take payments, or charge bakers commission. When you order, you deal with the baker directly.

Ordering from a baker

Prices, availability, delivery, payment, refunds and the cake itself are agreed between you and the baker. Information on a baker's page is a guide and may be out of date — confirm the details with the baker before you pay. CAKELANKA is not responsible for orders, payments or disputes between customers and bakers, but please tell us if a baker behaves dishonestly so we can review their listing.

For bakers

• Listing is free. Some pages were set up from information the baker had already made public; you can claim yours to manage it, or ask us to correct or remove it.
• Keep your page accurate, and upload only photos and text you own or have permission to use.
• You are responsible for your products, food safety, pricing and dealings with customers.
• We may edit, hide or remove a listing that is inaccurate, misleading or breaks these terms.

Reviews and other content you post

Reviews must be honest and about your own experience. No abuse, spam, or personal details of others. By posting, you allow us to show your content on the site. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. One account manages one bakery. We may suspend accounts that are misused.

Fair use

Don't copy the directory in bulk, scrape it, or use bakers' contact details for marketing they didn't ask for. Don't try to break or overload the site.

No guarantees

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees. As far as the law allows, CAKELANKA is not liable for losses arising from use of the site or from dealings with bakers.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
